When your family comes into Chattanooga, they will have plenty of wonderful hotel options. In addition to the standard chain hotels in and around the area, downtown Chattanooga has several outstanding local hotel options. Two of them, in particular, are historical landmarks.

The Read House, located between Broad and Chestnut Street, has been a part of Chattanooga since the mid to late 1800s. It has undergone several renovations through the years, but remains an excellent option for visitors to Chattanooga. Similarly, the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel remains as a monument to days gone by. When Chattanooga was a major rail hub the hotel served as an available accommodation option for travelers. Today it still provides excellent accommodations for out of town visitors. Like the Read House, the Choo Choo has been updated over the years as well.

Chattanooga also boasts several boutique hotels, most notably the Dwell Hotel. This hotel provides a cozy, charming option for guests looking for a unique experience. It’s one of a kind feel and design offers a stay unlike anything else in the area.

The Chattanoogan is a locally owned hotel that offers large meeting rooms, a bar, restaurants, and a convenient location. It is a large hotel that provides a feel similar to a Marriott or Hilton, but with a local feel and affordable prices.

Within the last year, Chattanooga has welcomed the Westin to its downtown. With several meeting rooms, a sky bar, and within walking distance to multiple restaurants, the Westin offers luxurious accommodations supported by their outstanding service.
