Hospitals
The Chattanooga area is fortunate to have three main hospitals with other smaller hospitals throughout the area. The main three, Erlanger, Memorial, and Parkridge, all offer quality care to the members of the community. Erlanger is a Level I Trauma Center and boasts an excellent children’s hospital as well. Their fleet of helicopters enables them to bring seriously injured or ill patients to the hospital quickly and efficiently.
Memorial, a private hospital, is well regarded for its patient satisfaction as well as its tremendous cardiac care. With a renowned cancer center and multiple doctors’ offices on campus, Memorial offers a high level of care to all of its patients.
Parkridge also boasts multiple on site doctors’ offices as well as quality care. With shorter ER wait times on average, Parkridge is a solid option for patient needs.
In addition to the main three hospitals, Erlanger and Memorial both have satellite hospitals in other areas of town to treat people as needed. Erlanger East and Erlanger North, as well as Memorial North Park, provide quick care for emergencies and can transport people to the main hospitals when needed. All of these satellite facilities include multiple doctors’ offices and serve as hubs of medical care in their communities.
